Orienteering Hike at the mount of Niederhorn
On sunday I had the chance to redeem the gift of my cousin. A hike in the upland of Bern. Surprising in combination with an Orienteering Hike. We started our journey with the rail from Beatenbucht up to the mount of Niederhorn. At the mountain station we enjoyd the view together with a coffee. The light in the mountains and the view over the upland of Bern, lake of Thun and Justistal was incredible.
At the starting point we decided to do two of the three orienteering hike variations. We walked at the mountain through forest and hedges to reach the batches. The leaf from the trees where in a beautyful red and the panorama just stunning. We got all batches and done the papers into the box at the finishing point.
We had lunch in the restaurant at Vorsass and enjoyd some cooked potates with Raclett cheese and pears. Further downhill to Beatenberg, we went with a scooter. On the beginning it was a bit bumpy but a lot of fun in general.
What a wanderful day in fall!
