In the morning we relaxed on the Big Island for a while by the sea before we flew from the youngest to the oldest island. After picking up our car, we drove to our beautiful hotel in the evening, which is located directly on the sea. With our feet in the sand, whilst listening to the sound of the sea, we enjoyed dinner in the restaurant of the hotel.
Given that we booked all our flight in Hawaii in First Class, we went really quickly through the check-in. As fast as the flight from Maui to Big Island (Hawaii). Picked up our SUV, we easily found our Airbnb accommodation.
After we returned the car in Oahu, we shortly checked in the First Class and waited at the lounge for our flight. With one hour delay we departed to the Island Maui.
After a long 21 hours flight, we finally arrived in Honolulu by night. The warm climate welcomed us and we also got a free upgrade with our rental car.
There are many things to do and see in Manhattan. New York City was founded in 1624.
The eight-hour flight runs very fast and we passed during 10 minutes the passport control. We arrived our hotel Hilton on Times Square after a one-hour drive in a yellow cap.
5. – 6. Januar Nach Ankunft der 4.5 stündigen Fahrt sind wir in San Francisco im Holiday Express Inn beim Fishermans Warf angelangt. Nach kurzem aufenthalt im Hotel sind wir mit der Cabelcar, nachdem wir bei Wallgrass günstig für die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ein dreitages Pass erhalten haben, zur Union Square gefahren. Dieser Stadtteil ist super für Shopping was wir auch gemacht haben.
2. – 4. Januar Von Las Vegas zum Bryce Canyon 200 Meilen fuhren wir von Nevada durch Arizona nach Utah. Somit sind es bei unserer Reise mit California 4 Staaten.
30.12.2013 – 1.01.2014 Morgens früh sind wir direkt zum Shopping Las Vegas South Outlet gefahren und haben einiges eingekauft. Ich musste mir sogar einen kleinen Koffer fürs Handgepäck für den Heimflug kaufen.
29. – 30. Dezember 2013 Nach den ersten 150 Meilen auf der Interstate sind wir zum Mittagessen in der kleinen Stadt Barstow im Barstow Bowl Sport Bar and Grill bei der Route 66. Dort gabs den besten Salad den ich je hatte!
