Russia – Moscow

Finally, the holidays start. At the airport I met Manuel and after check-in and security check we took an aperitif before the flight. The three-hour flight to Moscow went without any trouble. With the Visa was everything fine and we received the migration card.

Ljubljana During the eight-hour train ride, I really enjoyed the landscape from Hungary and Slovenia. At the evening I arrived in Ljubljana and after check-in, I walked around the beautyful lighted streets of the capital. In the Restaurant Juljia I ate a delicious venison filet with truffle mashed potatoes.

Bucharest Arrived in Bucharest, I drove from the train station with the bus to the old town where I checked in into my hotel. After a short shower I was looking for a tourist information which is a table inside a coffee store. Unfortunately, during the new year’s holidays are no tours to the castle Bran.

The magic of Scotland

On our last day on the boat, we would like to see the Urquart Castle. Unfortunately, the bus didn’t stopped. So, we decided to go directly to our wharf from Caley Cruisers in Inverness. So, we had the whole day time to visit the city. We went up to the tower of the castle and walked around the city center. Inverness is a nice city and has a lot to offer inside and outside the center.

From the hotel Smyrlabjörg, we drove directly to the glacier lake Jökulsarlon. On this lake, we had a ship cruise with a amphibian boat between the icebergs. The lake is connected through a river with the ocean. That’s the reason why the lake will never freeze.

Iceland – Fire and Ice

To see Iceland after ten years was really special for me. This country in the north was my first travel without parents and this trip which everything started. Iceland as well as the journey itself fascinates me.
